Feel free to update the repo to keep developments in one place. Since I don't have time to continue the development, I'm giving this opportunitiy to the community to continue the development. Thanks to TeeJayOne on, there's an update for X-Plane 11Īfter thinking for a long time, I've decided to open the source files of the Antonov An-2.

First he said he couldn't find FSX anymore, which anyone with google could find FSX Steam. I do agree however that once mfs2020 comes out, xp11 and p3d become inadequate.

Plus the OP asked specifically about xp11 and you brought up p3d (or tried jam your p3d fanboyism down his throat, to use your analogy). And a level of quality not seen in a sim before. Xplane is a newer program that offers features that p3d just doesn't. But it wont matter next year anyway because both will get obliterated by the NEW Microsoft Flight Simulator. The difference between an X-plane fanboy and a P3D one is that P3D fans can see the good in both, whereas X-plane fanboys just shove it down your throat. I use both X-plane and P3D v4.5 and there is no reason he can't do both. P3d ran like crap on the same setup, and out of the box does not look as good as xp11. With 1 high end graphics card I run xp11 on fairly high settings and get great FPS (20-50fps at all times) across 3 screens. I use xplane 11 to run my home cockpit because the 3d cockpits are incredibly realistic and functional. This is the main xplane download site much like avsim is for MFS/P3Dįor high quality payware jets i'd suggest Hands down.ĪND check here for a lot of other stuff.

The xplane flight dynamics, sloped runways, and default aircraft are the best on a simulator program ever. There just isnt a ton of high quality freeware. X plane is a much better program than fsx or p3d.
